KC is only fourteen but has already been through more then most of us will experience in our life time. At seven months of age the doctors realized she couldn't see and most likely would never be abel to do so. Growing up in the dark is never easy but, KC is now 13 and after years of dreams to see a blink of light KC finally has a chance to do so. This is my first story that I have written. There will probably be some grammatical and spelling errors but i will do my best to keep them as minimal as possible. This story is not based off of a true story and may not all be factual. I will do my best to update it consistently. Enjoy!

"Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that is the one that is going to require the most of you." -Caroline Myss He scowled and put a finger up to my lips. "Mallie," he whispered, "listen to me. You and only you are the girl that matters to me the most in this world, ok? There's no one else I want to be with, no one else that makes me feel the way you do. You are my world, and I'm going to fight for you until the end. Don't ever forget that." _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Have you ever had to make a choice? A choice that decides, not only your future, but the future of those around you? Mallie never thought she'd have to choose. She never thought she'd have to choose to see the one person she cared about suffer before her eyes everyday and not be able to do anything about it. People shouldn't have to make those kinds of choices, but she did. And the strange thing was... she didn't regret a minute of it.
