Rusted Memories

This is my first story on this account, so I apologize for any errors in it, or if it just sucks.
Anywho, to the description!
A group of childhood friends that came together because of hardships tehy all dealt with in the same neighborhood had always wished of having a normal life, where they would be free of their past memories. Happily, they all live together in an apartment, close to reaching their goal of leaving their past behind. Unfortunately, this becomes impossible for one of the friends, Jack, when a group from his past comes to finish something he had started to gain the life he has today. In order to protect those close to him, Jack is going to have to give up the future life he had always dreamed of, and give into the orders he's given, no matter what it costs.
