Lucy Heartfilia. Shiny golden hair. Big, beautiful brown orbs. Perfect shaped lips. Sparkling skin. Sharp fa- wait what? Lucy Heartfilia is a vampire. I know, I know. How original. Don't worry, this isn't any Twilight. Similar, but (hopefully) way better. She's just started the 10th grade. Her whole life she's been bullied by other kids. Why? She purposely makes herself look incredibly ugly. She puts on stage makeup to, instead of covering her non-existent blemishes, creates them. Fake pimples, and any other acne, she has painted on her face. She keeps her hair un-brushed and her clothes baggy. She just doesn't want people to over obsess over her looks. She isn't cocky, she's a mythical creature that is known for their looks and vicious antics.
Natsu Dragneel. Don't let the fangs and pink hair trick you, he's completely human. Yes, the hair is his natural color and he was born with the fangs. No, he ISN'T a vampire... yet. He doesn't pay any mind to Lucy. Doesn't mean he dislikes her, he just never had a reason to talk to her. He's one of the few who don't actually bully her, along with Levy McGarden, Gajeel Redfox, Juvia Lockser, Erza Scarlet and Gray Fullbuster. What he doesn't know, is that his best buds are actually vampires.
Levy, Gajeel, Juvia, Erza, and Gray are all vampires along with Lucy, that's why they don't bully her. She's one of them, only they don't care if people fawn over them. They understand why Lucy hides her beauty though, she's of a higher ranking if you will. This doesn't exactly make her stronger. She's just a little more than an average vampire.
