(Y/n)'s life was going downhill fast. She had little friends and was being bullied both online and in real life. She tried to hide it, but one day she broke down in tears, and told her parents. They decided to move to a new city, and (Y/n)'s best friend Mercy convinsed her family to move aswell. They were allowed to go to a school called Underhigh, which was actually a school for monsters; the creatures who magically appeared out of thin air some years ago. Though (Y/n)'s past wouldn't let her off the hook that easily.

Alone in a condemned world where monsters and humans fight for power constantly, Y/N survives off of the wood's riches and the small scraps of shelter she can find in ghost towns.
