Increments

When a person you love is running out of time, how will you remember them? We, as humans, don't remember the times we have spend with that person by seconds, minutes, hours, days, or years. We count them by increments. We count the times we spend with them as each event passes.
Don't count how long you've spent with that person, because when it cuts off too early, you'll realize you've never savored the moment that you've passed.
