His Regret, Her Salvation
"I won't let anyone harm you..ever again." He promised, eyes filled with determination and possessiveness. Afterall, she is his...only his. "I know." She smiled kissing his cheek, her eyes filled with hope and happiness. ~~~ "I...I wi-ill protect you.." He pleaded, his voice cracking. He took a tentative step forward, but she recoiled, her body trembling with the weight of past pain. She looked at him, her eyes hollow, a tear tracing the line of her cheek as she let out a bitter laugh. Fragments of Us
This book explores the lingering emotions after a relationship ends. It follows the narrator's struggle to move on while being haunted by memories of a past love. They wrestle with feelings of anger, confusion, and doubt, questioning if the love they felt was ever real. This captures the pain of unreturned feelings and the difficulty of letting go when the past still lingers. I was about to end my life when he saved me. He mended my broken heart with his love and care. He was fast very fast. He told me his darkest secret. He became the love of my life.
