In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? Note: This story was written during a challenge to write an entire book in one week! Excerpt: I glanced at him. His jaw clenched and grip on the steering tighter turning his knuckles white. His expensive watch winked at me in the moonlight. Yet I continued "Im not blessed with good facial features nor do I have a body like a stripper. I'm just an ordinary woman." What? It is the truth. The next moment I know the car came to a halt. I turned to Damien giving him a confused look. He was gazing at the road ahead. "Is everything okay, Mr Reiss?" I inquired. After a few good minutes he cursed "Fuck this." He leaned over the console. His ocean blue eyes were darkened with anger or was that lust? Why would he lust over me? My question was answered when he held my chin and lifted my face and before I could predict what he was upto, he smashed his lips on to mine. He moved his lips over mine biting my upper lip and then the lower one. It wasn't like the chaste kiss he gave me when I looked after his brother. That was more a gentle kiss. This was anything but that. His tongue darted out to lick my lips. When I thought it was over and he was pulling away he surprised me with his question "Mind if I ... deepen the kiss?"
