Silent Heroes: Spotted Wings

I looked down in awe, I had felt different the last couple days, now I know what had happened, at least I think I do.

My usual dark wavy brunette hair was tipped with a golden honey yellow streaks. My skin color was the same though, light pale with lots of freckles. But the one thing that stood out the most were my eyes. They where a vibrant pale green, unlike my usual forest green. I looked over to my best friend, her amber eyes were filled with fear, knowing that this was not natural for a regular human being.

She had become afraid of me. My best friend. What had I become?
