Phil Lester is an upper-middle class boy, with great grades and an optimistic outlook on life. Dan Howell is just another regular guy that has been dubbed as a bad influence, even though all he wants to do is protect his little brother. Dan brings out the worst in Phil, but Phil brings out the best in him. Although they seem to be nearly perfect personality wise, the universe seems to be working against them. Will it be worth getting through the obstacles for each other? Or will they decide to let each other go?

And then Dan's parents decide he needs to love someone rather than himself, and when Phil shows up at his mansion steps, Dan's parents grow fond of him- so much that the two are exchanging rings and Phil is moving in with his new spouse. They tell Dan he should give it a few months, to be patient, and if he still doesn't like him then they'll sign the divorce papers and call it quits. Marriage isn't perfect, right?
