Countries of the world and their "interns" face an immediate threat to the well-being of the planet: Alfred. He has already taken oven the continents Africa and South America. Others have began to step in, but will they be able to stop him?
This is based off of my close friends and the crazy things we do during our 2hr lunch and in chatrooms. We all personify an already personified country based off of our traits and personalities. Also, I'm Devan and Ivan. Just so you know.

After the second American Civil War, the world changes drastically. A new nation stood where the United States once was, the Last Empire having fallen to its own people. What makes it worse, is when he's placed into an arranged marriage as a landgrab, and then told about it just before it happened. Now he is wrestling with both his addiction, and someone he was supposed to marry in 1860! Ivan was an addict, once. He understood the pain of withdrawal. He wants to help, since there was nobody around to help him. The idea of joining the Union was one he hadn't even thought of before his boss had arranged the marriage with the dictatrix. Now, he was thrown into a world he didn't know, forced to interact with people he had never met, and be one of the first nations, the third most powerful, to join a mega-nation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Extra: Alfred is headcannoned as brown get over it.
