They are all humans, no superpowers, just super minds. After quite the unusual education, these children moved to a town relatively unknown to the public for it's population of 17 and dying atmosphere. It is located next to a gloomy looking sea and it is always foggy.
One is a brilliant chemist, the son of a wealthy family, or used to be a wealthy family before people began to leave the town. He spends his time working on his latest idea.
Another is a journalist, a serious one that lives in a lighthouse with her mother and grandfather. She does not have an actual job, but is very nosy when it comes to mysteries and business. There is a girl who's jobs and hobbies aren't meant to be said, who spends her time who knows where doing who knows what. She lingers around and she could be good or bad, but no one really knows yet. The other is a freak when it comes to social studies and history related subjects, he likes to look into problems and making theories. After his rough childhood, he moved to the border of the town, right before its collapse a few years later to escape his old way of life that might soon return to him.
