It all starts with a vision. A brutally dark and demanding vision, that speaks promise of inhumane suffering. A vision so bleak that all it foresaw was a future stained with nothing but death and dirt. She knew it would be dangerous to attempt any kind of divination during the witching hour. She knew that any vision seen, or any spell spoken was to be kept under lock and key, never brought to the other side of the moon. But this time; this time she couldn't ignore the call. And it all ends with a vision. _____________________________________________________________________________ When Janey Adkins received a fellowship to Rabun County, Georgia, she thought she knew what she was going to be doing. She was told she was going to become a helper to the town's local witch, to serve her as she wished. She was to sit in on all her clients, to fetch items for her whenever the witch needed them. But with a world filled to the brim with supernatural creatures and things that go bump in the night, some times, somethings were unpredictable. When a stranger arrives at the shop during the witching hour, she knows she needs to send them home. Nothing good ever came out of a witching hour reading. Feeling pressured, she obliges... But what came next had nothing to do with the stranger. It was something bigger, more sinister than what she ever imagined.
