Kenma's twin sister moved to Miyagi with their mom while Kenma stayed with their dad in Tokyo. Katelyn had moved there during her second year of middle school after her parents got divorce. Katelyn had become the manager for the boy's volleyball team at Karasuno . During one of their practice matches with Nekoma in Tokyo Katelyn had ran into the boy's volleyball captain, Kuroo, . Little did Kuroo know he had just ran into an old friend of his that he hasn't seen nor had contact with for 3 years which lead to him forgetting all about her. During that first rein-counter she noticed that he had forgotten about her while she still remembered all about him. Instead of confronting him she decided to watch it all play out .
