He seemed surprised for a second but then his face relaxed, as a smirk took place on his lips, he took a few steps towards the door then turned and said "Don't worry Jade, I will have you. Whether you want to or not, I will do whatever it takes to it happen. Mark my words Jade Christina Reaves, you will be mine, and that is a promise."

She leaned casually against the wall; arms crossed regardless of the rustle of the plastic bag as she crossed one ankle over the over. He became a little nervous, admittedly. Imelda just looked at him patiently, smiling kindly all the while. She didn't mind him taking time to answer. "I want to go into comedy." Arthur said, watching her smile widen, she looked interestedly at him. "Standup, mainly." Arthur never thought in a million years that he would cross paths with someone who genuinely seemed to care and want to know what he would say; likewise with how he felt. Imelda Henderson was a little ray of sunshine in an otherwise bleak and dismal life, one which Arthur was more than glad came into his life. However, he was soon going to set into motion events that even he could not foresee or wholly control, but what's the point of controlling that which needs to be freed and let loose on the world? But then likewise, who says that needing to slowly let go and transform needs to be done alone? Everybody needs a somebody in their corner, and plus; misery loves company.

After watching her parents get killed at the age of 13 by her older sister, Elsa Quinzel decide to the villains of Gotham City become ex villains after the Joker's passing and Harley Quinn behind bars, she become the new Therapist at Gotham Arkham Asylum where she meets, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Riddler and Harley Quinn herself. But along the way she meets a boy who she believes shouldn't be in there but see a different side of him that no one should ever see and to her surprise, she has even dared to fall in love. Love Locked Up is a romantic, Gotham world fan where danger is a new kind of love and nothing is as it seems.

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as he stared across the table at me. I could seriously drown in his eyes. He was intoxicatingly attractive and he had to know it. That's why he was acting strange around me. For some reason, he looked at me as if I was the only one there with him. As if nobody else were here. And his voice... it pained me. It actually pained me with how utterly seductive and husky it always sounded. And the way he smelled all the time. I don't know why he smelled so strong, but I didn't mind. He smelled like evergreens and a hint of mint. It sounds like a bad combo, but it dizzied me with how lost I got in it. The thought of not being able to control myself, my thoughts and feelings and body when I'm around him, infuriated me. I was so good at holding myself together now, and he just unraveled me so easily, leaving me a mess. I wasn't the slightest bit afraid of him, and I had no idea why either. Just being in the same room, I felt like I didn't have to look over my shoulder. I didn't have to worry. I didn't even know who he was, and he still drew me in. "So, you were in California before? Why did you move?" Grace Hatfield asked, looking at him. She is our school's college and career advisor. She took me in and adopted me a couple years ago. She even gave me her last name. A saving grace. Why had she invited him here? Why did he come? He turned to her with a smile and a shrug. "Guess I just hadn't found what I was looking for yet." This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. Please be nice to each other, and no rude comments. I may have a few spelling errors, so if you let me know, I will try to get to them.
