It was the color of sky that in every other season would bring forth rain. This sky however, was sinister, more diluted, like it was right before it snowed.   And I wasn't sure why winter always reminded me of crime; how the weather could cover up your tracks as easily as you could make them. Snow was a force to have on your side, the power to remain hidden or to be found.  I guess I liked that ability...

That little moment when the light still covers the sky before night swallows it up, that tiny moment in time is when the sky truly looks majestic.
