She was nor a witch, neither a vampire. 
Clarissa Gilbert was just a common girl with two bright eyes and a contagious laughter.
When she was just a baby, Isobel gave her in adoption to a rich family who lived in Denver. 
The girl was cut off the supernatural world and , till the day of her sixteenth birthday, she thought that vampires, witches and werewolves were just mythological creatures. 
Coming back from her birthday party, she saw something that changed her life forever.
Scared and shocked, she decided to run away and moved to Mystic Falls where she tried to start a new life.  

After a meeting with girl called Elena, Clarissa found her new group of friends and an house to stay at. Damon and Stefan let her sleep in the boarding house and considered her like their little sister. With the help of Elena, Clarissa found out that she was a Gilbert and that she was Elena's twin sister.

Her life was perfect, everyone thought she had everything she wanted but she actually didn't have the most important thing : she didn't have someone to love.
The lack of passion and danger in her life brought the girl to get herself into troubles and befriend the villains of the town.

But in a summer night she met the devil himself and her heart started falling for him.

Brie Donavon was brought up in the chaos of poverty. By the age of 5 she knew what debts and loans were. Her father left her and her siblings, "Matt" & "Vicki", at a young age and their mother would come and go leaving Brie to raise herself and of course her younger sister. Brie desired love and a family which is something she never really had growing up. Everyone believed she was going crazy and always told her she had to get back to reality, the real world, where you had to work to survive. Everyone has heard of the great evil klaus mikaelson even the innocent Brie, word spreads fast in a small town like Mystic Falls . How could something possible be "evil"? She believed there wasn't such a thing. Brie was the only person who fully trusted klaus. With her Well-being. With her heart. With her life.
