Book 1:

This is a world divided by blood - Laysan or Utolian

The Laysan are commoners who live in black and white, ruled by a Utolian elite in possession of god-like superpowers. And to Shoyo Hinata, a seventeen-year-old Laysan boy from a poverty-stricken village, it seems like nothing will ever change.

That is, until he finds himself working for the royal family. Here, surrounded by the people he must worship, Hinata discovers that, despite his gray skin, he possesses a deadly ability of his own. One that threatens to destroy the balance of power.

But this is a world of betrayal and lies, and Hinata has entered a dangerous dance - Laysan against Utolian, prince against princess, and Hinata against his own heart.
