Update 3-7-19: From now on, I will be going through each chapter and changing the tenses(?). Currently my story is in present tense as I wanted something similar to Hunger Games where it feels like you are with the story. However, I feel it does not do it justice how I truly want it, so I will be reverting it to the normal. Hopefully this doesn't cause much of a disturbance to it or to you, dear readers. Further updates will be on my page, possibly in comments, or extra chapters.

This is a work in progress. As it stands, please take this as a long rough draft that happily welcomes constructive criticism. For a story description, please move on to the new first chapter.

I apologise that the first few chapters spelling are terrifying as I didn't check them but the other chapter later on in the story are double checked and corrected. Levi met you when you were a child almost around your age but maybe a little older. You had no home so he invited you to live with him and his mother Kuchel. Every time your's and Levi's hair would grow out Kuchel would cut their hair. She would cut Levi's into an undercut and would cut yours half way through your back and sometimes make it wavy like Kuchel's hair. One day you two are suddenly separated, will you find each over again? Even if you do will you two remember each over? Will you remember each over's appearance? Will you like each over? What will happen? I make promises with my soul and only once i have broken one - when it was clear that the one i promised to carry would stab me in the back and leave me to die for sake of ghostly fears - it was that or not win in peace, the victory heaven seeks. "We will never let each over go you promise?" "Promise kept." WARNING: Language will be used and some tw but nothing too detailed. First few chapters have spelling mistakes but now I check them, my auto correct acts up like crazy :)

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. Then I will go into a time skip after developing the relationship between the reader and Levi as he helps the reader through their depression, I just wanted to get some background into the story first since it's important to how the reader ends up meeting Levi. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut. I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain.
