"Skylar!" screamed my father. I knew he was upstairs but the thing was I didn't want to go up there because I knew what would happen. But I have to go up or I will get in so much trouble.

"Yes father," I was scared but I had to go up there. I ran up the stairs and I came into my mom's and father room was. I seen my mom laying down on her bed crying. 

"Mommy why are you crying?" 

"Skylar I want you to see what happens when you don't want to listen to me. If you try to do anything you little bitch it will happen to you," growled my drunken father. And I seen it my father hit my mother.
