Being in prison. Having your whole family hate you. For most people this is very unrealistic but for one girl its her whole world. Jane was thirteen when she was framed for murder. She is now 15 and made lots of friends in prison who are going to help her break out of jail. Find out how she and her friends do it in Thirteen and Behind Bars.

Though Jane's mother pushed her to the edge of the line and further, the fifteen year old still feels as if it's her fault. Running away from her terrible deed, she learns of betrayal, death, forgiveness, and what it takes to survive in the criminal world. She'll meet the one who'll save her, a foe from the past, and even face the death of herself. With her mother's death haunting her every move, Jane's whole world is falling apart, and she can't do anything except run. As one had said: "The guilty shall rest under pain of death;" will that also mean Jane? Or will she have to suffer the deaths of her loved ones . . . alone? Jane doesn't know who to trust and whether she was pushed past her fault line.
