Now Angel lives in a orphanage for about 5 years, but one day she gets adopted by the Smith family with dark secrets and meets her new family she's never seen before, but there is something about her that she never knew. Also, she's different. She doesn't know what she really is and she might never will figure it out, her life has been a lie ever since her parents died. From the life she once knew changed because of the dark secrets that's been hiding with her for a long time. Will she accept her new life and find out what the truth is and what the Smith family are hiding and what she really is? Or will she ignore everything, even herself and stay away from the nightmares she's living in even though she lives with Smith family?

You may still like this even if you don't like fantasy. It's more like a normalization of angelic humans. There's plenty of gay adorableness and cuddles. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin. Being able to tamper with gravity, will he keep Pepper on the ground or will he float away. *WARNING* This is a boyxboy and if you aren't cool with that just don't read it. It does have some triggering stuff like abuse and i'm afraid it might be to important to just give you a warning to skip. I think that covers it. Enjoy the story.Complete

So the drawings are HEAVILY based from there. So, To make things clear.
