This takes place two months before the episode "an inside man"

You've been an undercover Rebel spy for almost six months now, not particularly high up in either the Rebellions ranks nor the Empires ranks. Fairly expendable to either side. Among the many other undercover spies on the ship, you only knew the name and face of one. Agent Kallus. You work under him in a simple job. All you do is monitor the internal temperature and output of the sector 8 energy generator, really entry level.

Things had gone relatively smoothly until Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus of the Phoenix Squardon infiltrated the Imperial factory on Lothal. With knowledge that there was an insider that was giving out major Empire secrets on his ship, Grand Admiral Thrawn ordered transmissions of every type from anyone be monitored closely.

You get caught. Your punishment?

Execution.

Or so you and everyone was told.

"I have heard that you rebel against the Empire. Is this true?" Hera stayed silent and looked at the man with disgust written all over her face. "Shame that such a pretty woman like you would betray her beloved Empire." he pressed onward. "I have no love for the Empire... not after what they did to my home and all of the other planets that people call home all over this galaxy." Hera said, losing her temper. "Seeing as we, the Empire that you hate so much, need information and you seem to have some... well, we are going to have to relieve you of that knowledge. You see, most prisoners like you are not that eager to give out information, so we have to extract it from them, sometimes rather painfully. Because I am kinder than the others here, I am going to give you two options. One, we painfully break you and get the information out of you. Or two, we painfully extract that information out of the man that is here with you. So... it's your choice. Which will it be?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Book 1: Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus have been operating as a duo for quite some while now after they met on Gorse. After a while together, they go on a normal supply run. Nothing can go wrong, right? Wrong! Kanan has a few problems with the Imperial forces but does safely make it back to the ship. Later that night though, Kanan has a strange vision telling him to acquire some materials. After another one of these warnings, Kanan finds them and starts to use them. So witness the events which lead up to Kanan having his mysterious vision and how he acquires these materials. Learn what happens after he starts to use these. Meet new and familiar characters and watch the rapidly growing relationship between Kanan and Hera all in this book. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN LUCASFILMS OR DISNEY OR ANY OF THAT STUFF! I've been a spy in the Imperial Navy for seven years, and a part of an elite squad specifically for Tarkin for five of those years. Everything was normal, I reported back to Bail Organa regularly, sending him a constant influx of information on the Galactic Empire. Until my mission changed, and I was transferred to the Chimaera, under Commodore Thrawn's leadership. Can I continue to hide my true mission from the all-seeing Chiss? Or will I find something I hadn't expected to find? ***I do not own any of the characters in the story. The story takes place in the Star Wars universe. This does follow the Star Wars storyline pretty well, but your presence in the universe is different, as well as your home planet, which was created by me. Just note that with your addition to the Star Wars universe, events may not play out the same... You are not force sensitive, but this doesn't mean you are not acting in service of the force, knowingly or not. In a way, it is a parallel universe, with your existence being the main difference. But really, how much could one person change...
