Amara Vericiano is a badass.
Well, to put it simply. You see, Amara's goal this year was one-hundred detentions and to deface at least fifty percent of the school property, but before she could reach one-hundred, she was expelled.
Why? She would've gotten away with it if it weren't for resident popular head cheerleader and teacher's pet, Brittney Winters.
So when Amara gets transferred to Lawrence Waters Prep School, a prestigious boarding school in Virginia, things are about to change.
Especially when Amara goes from the loud troublemaker to the quiet, awkward bookworm. She let herself get pushed down and ignored by the populars, but this year, this year is different.
With the help of an unlikely sidekick, Amara's going to bring down the popular kids.

"We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk.
