Amber Knighting, she was and always thinks of herself as a freak, but she sticks up for her friends even if she gets beaten up from other high schoolers for doing that. 
Her parents die, and she is forced to move away from the guy she loves, but he doesn't talk to her. Amber being Amber becomes very gothic, and punk rocker chick. All her life she's been called names, this year she knew it would be different. She is transferred to Oakland high school in Tennessee where she now lives with her aunt and cousin, Lynn. 
When she enters the school everyone has their attention drawn to her. She doesn't like attention. So she just starts reading, and  bumps into one of the people at her new school, and takes an interest in becoming friends, but when she meets the friends in the cafeteria, things get hectic. Because she doesn't want anyone to make fun of her family she beat up a blonde head cheerleader who dissed her cousin right in front of her. Not a good idea. 
When she saw the people at the lunch table where she was going to sit with her new friend. She saw Blake, the mystery boy she secretly might like but can't tell yet. Somethings different with this boy. Will she find out or is this just a romance sort of fiction story?All Rights Reserved
