But it's the holiday season, the only time when her friend is tired of her reclusive nature and brings her to their massive Christmas parties. This year it's tiny; she prefers tiny. Just her, the friend, the roommate, and Rory, some guy everyone eagerly tells her to meet. Some guy who ends up spilling his drink on her because his own shadow made him jump. Some guy who ends up alone with Olive when the lights die, sounds disappear and it appears the shadows may need to be feared.All Rights Reserved

But she never comes home. Adam report her missing. He gets another call later in the night from his husband. He tells me that Emily is in the hospital. She was found unconscious in the woods by the police. Luke says she has horrible nightmares about a man without a face. Adam and Vanessa quickly go to the hospital to be by her side. Three days later, Emily is allowed to return home. But she's not the same again. She has still nightmares and she see things that nobody else see. Adam and Luke are very worried about her. When Emily is accused of stabbing her classmate, they know they have to help her.
