Reilly Jones works at Ruby's Inn. A prominent diner in Red Oak. She's young, naive and last but certainly not least, one of the only black waitresses working there. She tries to keep a low profile and to herself but little does she know she's on the radar of every guy in a five-mile radius of the Ruby's. However, she thinks herself an average girl, like any other. Only her mother died when she was little and her father spent most of his time at the local bar nursing more than one beer, and she has the mental scars that tell differently. That and she longs to be important ... a least to someone. Gerard Grant always gets the girl. He's a strikingly gorgeous cowboy, not afraid to speak his mind and as typical rich guys go ... he's arrogant. He takes pride in overseeing his family's ranch but when he's not working the ranch, he likes to have fun. Being oh so sure of himself, he gets in on a seemingly harmless bet with a few of his cowhands. The Bet: to get the most unbelievably beautiful and unattainable girl in town, Reilly Jones, to go out with them. Being who he is, he doesn't expect her to toss Iced Tea in his face or worse, reject him and it stings. However, little does the beauty know the games are only just beginning because as everyone knows in Red Oak, this Grant always gets what he wants. All Rights Reserved!!! Heartbreak Town (COMPLETED) by Cowgirl1515
45 parts Complete
Reagan Renne Walker left the tiny town that she grew up in in Wyoming five years ago to fulfill her dream of opening an equine therapy ranch in Montana & to start a new life. Reagan's parents died when she was just seven years old. Mallory, Reagan's older sister, was still too young to care for both herself and her sister. As a result, Reagan and Mallory were forced to live with their grandparents. Mamaw and Papaw Walker sent both girls through school and college. Reagan never imagined leaving Wyoming. However, after her unexpected relationship with Swayde, her childhood best friend, and love of her life, took a turn for the worst, all Reagan could think about was that she couldn't get out of Wyoming fast enough. Swayde is your typical, rugged cowboy. His smile was enough to melt any girls heart, his eyes made it seem like the sun was always shining, even in the worst storm, his square jaw line accented his dark beard, his body thick with muscles. His physical features and build were intimidating at times, and didn't always match his laid back, easy going, gentlemanly personality. Swayde never thought he would fall for feisty Reagan, and even more so, Reagan never thought that she would fall for him. They end up in this unexpected whirlwind relationship, and everything is hunky dory until Reagan finds out a secret from Swayde's past that would forever change the way she looked at him; a secret he kept from her for over ten years. Confiding in her grandma, Reagan finds out that her grandparents knew the secret all along too. How could the people she thought loved her hurt her so bad and keep this big of a secret from her for so long? When tragedy strikes back in Wyoming, Reagan is forced to move back to the town she swore she would never step boot in again, thus leaving her new life in Montana behind. Through God, can Reagan find a way to forgive the people who hurt her, or will she forever consider Alpine Ridge "Heartbreak Town?"

A Cowboy for the CEO

44 parts Complete Mature

A jaded executive needs to save a horse and ride a cowboy instead. * * * * * When a careless mistake forces Manhattan financier and champion show jumper Alejandra Barros into a posh Colorado rehab facility as a term of keeping her jet-setting job, the perfectly chiseled abs of a local cowboy might be intriguing enough to make the workaholic reassess her priorities. But Ali doesn't count on hot-as-hell ranch hand Hank Mathis being just as physically and emotionally damaged as she is, even if he's a lot better than her at hiding it. These polar opposites will first need to be honest with themselves - and then with each other - to not only start to heal, but to also forge a relationship outside of Pebble Creek Lodge that's worth fighting for. Otherwise, Ali and Hank will risk losing the one thing that could truly make them happy: each other. * * * * * This book was previously published by Pocket Star/Simon and Schuster under the title: THE LAST RESORT (2017). Content Warning for mature situations and discussions including sex, trauma, PTSD, hidden disabilities, addiction, and psychological/physical injury.
