My mother wanted to give me the life she never had. A good life, full of joy and happiness. But they say the apple never falls far from the tree. And it is one truly poisoned apple that fell. 

I was stuck in the same cycle as my mother once was, except this time, I had an aim to escape it before it could continue. And that aim was to reach the city of New Orleans. But what I found there wasn't the freedom I craved, it was more of the cages I dreaded.
