The Island

Equivex was founded by a brilliant multi-millionaire .

Now, a half of a century later, the Island has been outed to the outside world and scrutiny is cast on an Island outside of any country's rule. The Island has been built and designed with Paul Davenport's wildest dream--gene splicing.

A third of the Island is dedicated to the science; another third is lived on by their creations. And the final third is a treacherous area infested by Ferals, earlier failed experiments who managed to thrive in the tropical climate, mutating and multiplying themselves.

With Paul decrepit and ailing, ownership of the drowning corporation is transferred to his nephew. A young chef who had no idea what his uncle did. While Saul struggles to fit into a new role, carefully kept secrets are exposed.
