This is a story set in a world where highly extreme mental or physical trauma gives humans extraordinary powers and abilities. The story starts off with Elias, a troubled boy who's dealt a very bad hand. When more and more people become aware of these "super-humans", there is uncertainty in the fates of many. Somebody needs to rise up and organize, but until then, there's one rule: Keep your head down.
