Petal River; an extradimensional realm composed of many flowers, gardens and streams was once ruled by the gentle, Queen Printemps. Queen Printemps was although captured by her evil twin sister, Hourglass while using power of the twenty-two magical Pretty Cure Seeds cast a spell and transformed three of the seeds into her loyal minions known as the Poisonus Three: Oleander, Datura and Nightshade.
So two small fairies named Bud and Spice flew down to earth in hope of finding the legendary warriors known as Cure Spring and Cure Ocean.

Meanwhile, Batty, a companion of Dokurokushe the Wizard of Darkness, appears in front of Mirai and Riko! Batty demands that Riko hand over the "Linkle Stone Emerald", which Riko herself had been looking for. To make things worse, Batty uses dark magic to create a monster known as a Yokubaru! Mirai, Riko, and Mofurun join hands. With the magic words "Cure Up RaPaPa!", their pendants shine a magical light over them! The legendary witches "Pretty Cure" are born! Creative And Colorful Pretty Cure
The Canvas Corner was a land that fed on creative desires from earth, the fairies harnessing these to grant color and beauty upon both worlds in return. It was one day attacked abruptly by creature named Master Shokyo, and the land was erased along with every other Pretty Cure in the land that tried to stop him. Orenji, the last surviving fairy, retreated to earth with a mission and a promise he made to his friend, Cure Mastery. Keiko Sakura, an excitable neurodivergent teen, attends Crafts Academy with her friends to pursue her aspiration as a painter. During open house, the building gets attacked by two mysterious figures called The Erasers, who turn a student to stone and create a monster, an Inkling, out of their corrupted creative spirit to destroy color. She finds Orenji trying and failing to stop them, and upon realizing he's sentient, she saves him and the school by showing her own artwork and becoming the first Pretty Cure to appear in years ; The Pink Painter, Cure Cherry. Keiko, along with her teammates, Aoi Ayano as Cure Azure, Rei Akino as Cure Golden, Midori Khiao as Cure Lime, and Akemi Scarlett as Cure Crimson, work as the new generation of Pretty Cure to return creativity to its former glory.
