Welp, I've never written a fanfiction before, but after thumbing through page after page of mediocre Undertale 'fics, I felt compelled to write one.
The subject of this tale is Chara's ambiguous backstory. (for the sake of simplicity I'm going to call her a girl) There's so much about her that's left up to the player's imagination. Why did she climb Mt Ebott? What about her parents/family? Why does she want to erase the world? That's what I'm going to interpret.
I've been both intrigued and disturbed by her, and she's a character I've been thinking quite a lot about. So, here we go.

The monsters had the advantage but the humans were easily over powering them. The monsters lost and than were seal behind a barrier in mount ebott. Many years went past as monsters still live. Waitting for the day to be free. Legends says that whoever goes there will never return. It was said children's have disappeared there but no one knows if it was true. But everything changed when one girl chose to go there. And her adventure begun. Her fate lies in her hands and the underground" There charisk in this and frisk and chara are both girls as well. So, if she had the perfect life, why did she throw herself into Mt. Ebott? When Y/n awoke in the Underground she immediately noticed how much nicer the monster's are. They all brought a smile to her face and she felt at home. Toriel was always a mom to her, Sans and Papyrus were brother's, and Frisk was her best friend. She couldn't have ever wanted more. So, why did she kill all of them? Her and Chara had killed everyone more times than countable together. Chara was happy they found someone they could connect with, and Y/n was happy someone accepted the fact that she was a killer. They got along perfectly, the best of friends! Soon after that, Chara joins a new family, but their ambition to keep everyone happy goes a little overboard and Chara is flung into a reality of destruction and hopeless wonder. Then many long years later they meet the beloved Frisk, who fell into the Underground, similar to themselves. "all story's started with many years ago. a war between monsters and humans broke out. and it ends with the monsters losing. Than it goes to the legend of humans that goes up mount ebott never comes back. Than it talks about a girl that went up Mount ebott. survive everything that it threw at her. and freed the monsters. I was the first humans she met in there. We ended up getting together as girlfriends. Never thought I would love a human. but than she did a genocide. killing papyrus. killed my brother. my mother. my father. alphy. undyne. sans. even me. but she didn't stop. she continue to kill like it her goal. she didn't want to stop. even if I loved her. I will force her to gave up. I'll make her reset. after alot of battles. I finally defeated her and absorb her soul. I forgot what it felt like to save and reset. I open the reset and pushed it. than everything started to glitch out. it started cracking. glitching. my clothes started ripping. changing. I feel my magic disappearing. my age changing. I than feel myself falling. down. somewhere. until I landed. as I said. story's begin with the battle. but my one just only began because of the reset. frisk is 16. Chara is 15. They are both girls. After Chara threatens Frisk if she didn't kill one of her favorite monsters, Sans the Skeleton, she begins to distance herself from everyone; including herself. Will Frisk figure out how to defeat Chara and have a happy ending once again, or will she succumb to the pressure and begin the slay every monster- just like before?
