A New Generation

(Sort of like a sequel to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this journey follows Avi the Vampire skater and watches her grow up. Each chapter will be equal to one episode so there may be long waits in between updates.)

"Hell no!"

"Spike, please stop and listen-"

"I ain't your babysitter! Just because I have a soul, and I have some muscles, doesn't mean I've lost my brain!"

"Spike, we want you to be her watcher. We are offering you something amazing, and something we could hand over in a heartbeat."

"Then do that!" Spike paced around the room awkwardly, wanting to do something to prove his point, like flip a desk, but knowing all to well that he could hurt people. And he just didn't do that anymore.

"Spike, it's not like you were our first choice. We have a reason that you should be than man to do it."

"You'd better have a bloody great reason!"

"It's what Buffy wanted." The council man said solemnly.

The next morning, Spike found himself under an umbrella outside with Xander and Willow, searching for the new slayer.
