For years, the infectious disease, "Gelerinious" spread through Earth, killing 97% of the world's population. At first, only the rich could afford the treatment, or the "vaccination" to protect themselves from this deadly virus that quickly ate at its victims flesh and then ate the brain, heart and any other important organ. Then, once the poor managed to get a sample and make a copy, it was available to everyone. Unfortunately, both the original and fake cure were useless and gave the virus an even better chance at attacking the host. Luckily, those who did not get the vaccination, were safe. Now, 16 years later, a group of teens and one elder person journey to find the real cure as the virus becomes even more powerful, animals and plants also starting to be able to hold it.
