This was my first book and definitely not my last.

Akatsuki lives in a world were there is no shinobi. When living with his step-family, Akatsuki becomes depressed. Akatsuki is running away pretty soon after the last beating. Dont get me wrong they were once a loving family. For some reason that changed.
