Kendall Sumner is always on the go. As a full time K9 unit police officer it is already hard to juggle her everyday task's. But now with her Meme in the hospital due to heart problems it's getting harder and harder to have room for normal girl tasks and spend time with her friends.

Kendall is always known to work alone. Other than her partner in crime Jax, her German Shepard dog, she always works alone. Suddenly when a kidnapping goes wrong Kendall finds herself traveling cross country not only with her good boy Jax but with a gruff man with a wicked grin who calls himself Stone.

Bailey Stone is what people would call a lone wolf. He works alone and is never in one space more than two weeks. He's been known as the best detective on the East coast. When he gets a sudden call from an out of state Alpha, he knows it is important.

Stone expected to be put to work, but being paired up with a sassy brunette who doesn't know what those curves do to him was the last thing he wanted. Never mind her slobbery dog too.
