"Mom?"
I quickly turn. "Yes, my love?" I answer softly.
Mason sat next to me in the booth, his blue eyes look droopy and tired, as he started to rub his face lazily.
"I'm tired," he yawned loudly causing me and everyone else at the table to chuckle.
"Come her baby," I say moving my napkin from my lap to the table, before opening my arms for him.
He lazily scoots into my lap before cuddling closer to me. I wrapped my arms around him before moving out of the booth, which is not that easy to do with a seven year old clinging to you tightly.
Once I was out, I sigh before asking Rose to pack the rest of me and Mason's food up for us, she nods with a soft smile.
Mason moves before wrapping his arms around my neck and snuggling his head into the crock of my neck.
I kiss his head before, walking out of the dinner.
I walk around the dinner to the side next to the forest.
I feel Mason move before I hear his tired voice speak, "Mommy sing me the song," he says softly before snuggling into my neck again.
Sighing I start singing "The other night dear, as I lay sleeping"
"I dreamed I held you in my arms,"
"But when I woke de-" I was cut off by a deep growl that caused Mason's head to shoot up with his eyes wide.
With out thinking I took off toward the dinner, holding Mason tightly to me.
"Momm- Aaaaahhhhh!!"
