Storm is a Pikachu living in Giant Root Forest on the western side of the Kingdom of Kalos. Living in a world where legendary Pokémon have vanished and the world is left to die. Everything changes when shadows appear in the sky and destroy his home. Now on a quest of vengeance to find the one who destroyed his home, Storm sets off into the dying world and won't just learn about the evil hanging over all, but will discover who he really is and what happened hundreds of years ago that not only is causing the world and Pokémon to die, but cause the extinction of humanity.

Ever since that day when Ash Ketchum won against his mother in the World Coronation Series, when she started to show more interest in her duties as a Champion and as a Trainer than her own family, Vali started to dislike Pokemon in general, as they remind him of her. But when a fateful encounter with a Pokemon ends up saving his life, something lingering inside of him awakens and reminds him who he truly is. But is this really enough to bring back the love that he used to have for Pokemon? Vali will soon find himself caught in the center of dangerous activities.
