He occasionally communicates with Hikari whom is in New York for advance literature lessons while Ryuunosuke lives in Sakurasou. However, he suddenly cuts of his communication to Hikari. After a year, Hikari decides to travel back to Japan and greet her childhood friend and to say the good news that will only break her heart with the scene that greets her and took her breath away.
