(Tenth doctor fan fiction)    "What's it like to be set in life with all your priorities forfulled, your children old and gone, your husband quiet and loving. I would never have those feelings because I'm indecisive with all my decisions. I can jump straight into the fire without a thought, but getting out of its burning warmth always seemed to be much harder. That didn't even change when I met the Doctor and I wasted away not wasting time"  Mary moved to Britain a few years ago to escape her boring life in Florida to be a cop. Only she finds herself stuck in an endless circle of hating and loving her life in London. The people are nice, her home is cosy, but there's a large chunk in her being desperate to be filled. The only thing that can fix Mary is a strange trenchcoat traveler who she bumps into on Christmas Eve's eve. After inviting him over for tea she quickly finds herself intertwined in his life, his problems, and his love. All just a wonderful accident waiting to happen. What can the Doctor do after he begins to like Mary more than he'd liked anyone before, maybe even more than life itself....
