A fragment from a nightmare that woke me up, clear enough to be a proper tale, but needing more work to polish it.

This is my first story on here, haha, so please critique but do so kindly! :) The situation: Europe is being ravaged by a lethal epidemic. Three research centres are working on a cure. One terrorist has the power to take it all down. Ever since the terrible moment when his family was torn apart, Axel's goals have been simple: get a job, get into college, try not to have a mental breakdown, and make it until the next day. But that all changes when he finds out that his estranged brother is planning a series of terrorist attacks with horrifying implications. As the story goes on, James would realise it's not going to be easy returning to his normal life as the Mastermind has plans for him and what's worse, the Mastermind is everywhere, following him, seeing what he does, who he meets, who he loves. The Mastermind is tracking his movements and James doesn't know it. What's even worse, the Mastermind can be anyone, even his loved ones, making it hard for him to know who he can trust.
