"Hello?" The voice echos in my head. I look around alarmed. It sounded fearful.
"I won't hurt you," I whisper and the wind picks up. A hand grabs my arm and I hold in a scream. I whirl around and face myself face to face with bright green eyes.
"Why can I trust you?" The voice snarls but he just looked tired.
"I've never done anything to you have I?" I say trying to hide the shake from my voice.
"True," he says, "but you haven't proven your trust either." My voice gets caught in my throat at the pain in his eyes. He looked like a wounded kitten.

That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?"
