"There's not much for me here, anyway," he says, "What do you mean? Of course there is." I say looking down at my hands. "What I meant was that if I left, no one would care, it's not as if anyone needs me." he sighs, tossing a rock over the building. "I would. I would care. I need you, Harry. I would be a complete mess without you here, you know that. You're the only thing keeping me alive, as cliché as that sounds, I wouldn't be okay if it wasn't for you. You know that and—" he stops me mid sentence and he finally does it, he kisses me.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
