In a parallel world in 1987, bounty hunter Ruth Goodyear met a body jumper simply known as The Woman - an encounter never forgotten. Twelve years on, she stills tries to convince colleagues Tegan and Leslie that The Woman hides a secret so terrible, that they must unearth it and stop The Woman.
