A study group comprised of five best friends are tasked with writing a research paper on Shakespeare's Macbeth. Things get interesting when the friends are contacted by an ancient and powerful being- the Impundulu. Acting under the instructions of the Impundulu, the five friends head deep into an abandoned underwater city to free this god from it's prison.
