An international PhD candidate is looking for a place to stay: she has no one and nothing left but a new life to build from scratch in London.

It wasn't hard to get along, usually. John could handle Sherlock's bluntness and absolute disregard - or lack of knowledge - for people's feelings or sentiment. And Sherlock could handle John's questions about everything he said. John Watson: An army doctor, stationed in Afghanistan, shot in the leg, put out of commission. Psychosomatic limp; magically gone when he went on a case with Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes: High-functioning sociopath, and the only Consulting Detective in the world. He could read people, he could see crimes in the crime-scene; he could win. ♫ ♫ ♫ Sherlock Holmes went off the rails. He did an experiment that got him hospitalized after John found him on the scene. "Although we stick together it seems that we are estranging one another" -Florence + the Machine (Strangeness & Charm) A bbc Sherlock fanfiction, about the daughters of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, who solve crimes and mysteries in and around London. The story is going to be a project of three cases and a special case at the ending. The first case, The Evanescing Watchman, is finished and fully published already. All updates are at Wednesdays and Sundays, but there will be breaks in between cases. The title was inspired by Florence Welch's song, with the same title- this also features in the opening titles for the story, which is now available on YouTube and attached to the first chapter :) More music features in the story, however. In fact, the title of each chapter is a soundtrack or a song, which is atmospherically accurate, to the manifestations and content of the chapter. The rightful owner of this music is placed between brackets. Strangeness and Charm (S&C) was co-created by @ABisexualWeirdo, who owns the character of Rosie. She is writing a spin-off on our shared account, @GraceHRosieW.
