The Girl In The Ocean Of Boys

Being the only girl in town is tough. My family founded Quartersville fifty years ago. My great grandfather was a traveler, but in his old age he wanted to settle down. On his travels he found a barren piece of land, owned by no one. Of course there has been women here, there would have to be. Everyone who lived here were either family or close friends. My mother died of cancer after I was born, and all of the females left, as they couldn't bare the thought of their closest friend dying in this town. All of the females in my family had also already died from age.

I'm Song River, and I live in Quartersville with my father, and twenty older brothers. All of which are very protective of me, considering all the other people in this town are male, and after my mother died of cancer everyone grew distant in this town besides in ones home.

This isn't a story about me though. It's about her. The mysterious girl with a horrible past, that jeopardizes not only her, but anyone around her.
