La vida es dura Todo cambia las personas vienen y se van, al igual que los problemas... si eres lo suficientemente fuerte podrás sobrevivir Yukki Sakagami es una chica de 18 años que perdió a su familia en una cruel guerra, Yukki no es del todo humana, su madre, era un demonio, mientras que su padre era mitad demonio, asi que ella no es lo que aparenta ser; aunque ella tiene todo un pasado cruel y desgarrador solo quiere vivir como una chica común y corriente y sin amor, ya que desde su gran pérdida no le han vuelto a dar ganas de sentir ese sentimiento "inutil" (como ella lo describe) que hace que la gente pierda su tiempo. Tras ingresar en un programa de intercambio, éste hará que regrese a donde sus raíces: la ciudad de Tokyo en Japón en la cual descubrirá una que otra verdad sobre su pasado y, probablemente encuentre el amor con ayuda de sus amigos de infancia, los gemelos Kotarou y kuro Saotome, la que se convertirá en su mejor amiga Rini, y Atsuko, una chica que es criada por Kotarou, la cual dice no haber conocido a sus padres.
