Tras ingresar en un programa de intercambio, éste hará que regrese a donde sus raíces: la ciudad de Tokyo en Japón en la cual descubrirá una que otra verdad sobre su pasado y, probablemente encuentre el amor con ayuda de sus amigos de infancia, los gemelos Kotarou y kuro Saotome, la que se convertirá en su mejor amiga Rini, y Atsuko, una chica que es criada por Kotarou, la cual dice no haber conocido a sus padres.
