Charlotte Dubois doesn't have much going out for her. She is struggling to get by. Her friends are on vacation and her parents . . . Pssh- They were never around. She strongly believes that others in the world have it way worse than her and she can't complain or feel bad. So for the summer, her 'friends' are all busy and she wants something to do. So she decides to do summer school. Her goal is to try to get ahead for next year. But for poor Charlotte nothing in the world goes the way she plans. Charlotte ends up running into the one and only Vincent Thatcher. The Bad Boy. The Wrestling team Captain. Now she literally runs into him, with her car. It wasn't a major crash or anything but it happened. Will they become close somehow? Will it last into the school year? Could their relationship really turn into something that isn't toxic?
