Is what reads on the 1st page of my history textbook. Same as everyone else in the world. Underwater, on land, or in the air, there was no exception. Except for the humans, they were the only ones spared their "innocence". As if they ever had any.
Every fantastic being has an opinion on humans for reasons that vary but can all be simplified to that small paragraph.
My name is Anita Spirit. I am writing this journal, along with my 2 unblood sisters Miranda Chasbury and Periwinkle Forrest, as well as others whom wish not to be introduced in my introductory page.
This is what the history textbooks left out about that war that saved, changed and destroyed everything.

Maya «I never wanted to be feared. I wanted to be seen. Not as a monster, but as a girl who loves the smell of rain and the warmth of sunlit grass. A girl who talks to animals as if they understand her and whispers secrets to the wind when no one's listening. But the world doesn't care what I want. It sees the glow in my eyes and the claws beneath my skin and decides what I am. A beast. A danger. And now, with my family hanging by a thread and strangers knocking at our door, maybe it's time I stop holding back. Let them see what happens when you corner a wolf.» Remi «The sea doesn't forgive mistakes. I learned that the first time I felt the salt bite my wounds and the ropes burn my hands. Out there, you either adapt, or you drown. I learned to strike before being struck, and to stare into the eyes of men who'd rather see me dead. But even as the waves carried me further from the past, it never truly let go. And now, the storm I thought I'd outrun has caught up with me. Maya needs me. My father needs me. But the sea took parts of me I can't get back. What if the man who returns isn't enough? What if I'm already lost?» Lynn «The city taught me how to survive and how to disappear. A glance, a twitch of the fingers, a slight tilt of the head, that's all it takes to pick a pocket or avoid a blade. I learned to watch, to wait, to strike. I became the shadow people fear in alleyways. And I like it. I like the power, the freedom, the knowledge that no one can touch me unless I let them. But then came Maya's letter. And suddenly, the walls I built to keep the world out feel more like a cage. My little sister needs me, and I hate that it scares me. Not the danger. But home. The girl I used to be. The girl I swore I'd never be again.» Three voices. Three paths. One storm, ready to break. We're not heroes. We're broken pieces, sharpened by pain. And when the storm hits, we'll either cut through it or be swept away.

Long before the extraordinary was vanquished and confined to the realm of children's tales, giants walked the Earth. Sixteen feet tall, powerful, long lived, they hunted the colder regions of Northern Europe in tight nomadic tribes, thriving unchallenged... Until a tiny, clever, mindlessly aggressive, voraciously reproducing competitor invaded their habitat. In such confrontations, Darwinian rules predicted unavoidable conflict. The odds would have favored the tiny invaders. The giants' formidable strength would not have been enough to overcome their adversary's sheer numbers. After enough battles the choice for these immense beings must have been obvious-- Flee or be annihilated. Some chose oblivion, giving birth to the glorious bedtime stories in our lore... Others fled. Hiding from view, keeping to the outskirts, they searched for a sanctuary so remote, so desolate and so uninviting, that their relentless persecutors wouldn't bother with it. Eventually they settled within the ice of the great glaciers of Antarctica, establishing a peaceful, isolated colony that flourished undisturbed for centuries. Then a clever scientist mixed up a batch of Rare Earth Elements and created a superconducting material that could corral as much energy as the sun could throw at it as long as it stayed around the temperature of ice. The invention instantly transformed the Last Continent into a lucrative chunk of real estate. Humans and their machinery poured in, domesticating the wild frontier spreading like lava over ice, probing every nook and corner. Inevitably they collided with the hidden giants. Only this time there was no place left for them to run... This time there would be war.

Book One is finally complete, please look forward to Book Two, The Chronicles of Arnora: The Zemorian Invasion! Thousands of years ago there was a great war between the powers of light and darkness. The army of good had defeated the powers of evil, however darkness doesn't truly die.... Now thousands of years later that evil has returned to finish what it started all those years ago. The hope of saving the world now rests on the shoulders of one young man. Can he stop this evil before it rises again? Or will the darkness snuff out the light and reign supreme? Find out in the first exciting installment of The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon! My story takes place on a alternate Earth, in the fictional realm of Arnora. A place abundant with magic and full of different races such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Witches and Wizards. I've taking inspiration from some of my favorite well known sources to bring this story to life. Some of them include The Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Eragon and even Harry Potter. If you enjoy epic fantasy stories then I think you'll enjoy my story The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

"Let me prove to you I am unlike them." Thousands of years ago, there was a faraway land called Oceanum Collis. Many different people lived among each other in peace. Elves, mermaids, werewolves, and humans. After fighting hundreds of wars, the people came to a compromise and started to work together. Realms were united and civilization was born. Oceanum Collis was beautiful and peaceful, but with light comes darkness. The humans felt left out. While the others had magic and great strengths, they were nothing special. A young man, Basil Adelio, found that humans deserved more than to be farmers. But there was more to his plan. He was after the throne, so he could rule all over Oceanum Collis. Together, the magical creatures were able to stop him. The humans left the lands, leaving behind everything they had built. The alliance between the four people was broken. The elves and mermaids tried to rebuild their alliance, but without the werewolves it was impossible. And so the three different people parted, hardly talking to one another ever again. Now, one hundred years later, a new realm has been created. It was separated from the other realms by a large wall. A new leader has risen from the shadows. He believed that the outside world was filled with dangerous things. So, he made sure everyone stayed within the walls of the empire. And those who didn't were never heard of again. As others always looked away, a young man called Orlando, always glanced beyond the wall. One day, he's able to see what's behind the wall for himself instead of hearing stories. A new world lies ahead of him, but it might not be as beautiful as he had hoped. A/n: Hey guys! So this is an original story. Please, do not copy the story or use my characters without my permission. I've taken a long time to set this all up. Thank you! And love you all! -Jay25211💜💜
