Kelvin, Mia, and Alex have been friends since they can all remember and wouldn't want it any other way...most of the time. But, lately Kelvin's badgering about forming a "paranormal investigative team" to stalk the spooks out of their hiding places and into the harsh light of reality. And of course to document it all, on their lovely blogosphere. Oh yes, the internet where everyone is automatically assumed to be a fake until undeniable proof is provided. That's the best place to promote amateur paranormal findings.
Alls well that ends well, until, you know it doesn't end and it's not well. Very not well.

It has been a stressful year for Rain who has struggled to keep up with the workload during her first year of marine biology at University. Summer solstice arrives and they all decide to go swimming in the Loch to celebrate decent weather for once! Rain jumps in first, revelling in the warm but surprisingly cool water. As she surfaces, the summer weather has disappeared and she discovers her friends' lifeless bodies floating next to her. But how could this happen to strong swimmers in a shallow loch with no currents? The investigation commences and it's clear the police are struggling to find answers. Radically they suggest calling in special advisors to assist the investigation - the Paranormal Investigation Team (PIT). Will they fare better than the local police force? This isn't the first unexplained death to occur in this spot, after all this is the same loch where three children were discovered floating dead in the Loch during a game of hide and seek at a birthday party.
